Yea after the break in period I see no reason to wait any longer unless you want to keep your factory warranty "intact". (it never truly gets voided but if you have an engine/powertrain related issue the dealer will usually give you a hard time about it)
I'm not worried about the warranty haha and yeah 1000 miles of my driving should break this car in good
Congrats man. In the hierarchy of importance I would worry more about the premium over the performance pack. That is just me personally though. Aftermarket should get your suspension dialed in where you want it and it leaves you some money in your pocket for wheels and tires you would like more.Well gentleman I am a proud owner of an ecoboost mustang
That was my reasoning too, except I also really want the better fuel economy of the 3.31 gear vs the 3.55.
Yeah all the GT models in my area were premium package priced $40000 or more, the payments would have been to much.
Its my third car, mod it, play with it and enjoy it. MPG's suck, but hopefully get better after the tune and gas is at $4.59 gal, I put in $10 earlier and drove around town and gas light came on again. Thank god my daily driver is a VW TDI, $35 to fill it up and can go almost 700 miles.
Yes while the performance pack is a good value I just didn't see the need to wait until one became available in my area. I can live without bigger brakes and the minor suspension upgrades.
I've noticed the ecoboost is only slightly better around town then my v6 was but highway is much better if driving sensibly. Yeah I want the tune as soon as possible but with only 50 miles on the car it's just way to soon.I had a catback installed at 200 miles and tuned at 700 miles. Hopefully FMIC, down pipe and Intake before 1000.
. You'll see a lot of improvement after that 1000 mile break in. Also I'm assuming you're still running the dealer's 87
