Like stated, mpg's vary greatly. You already know how awesome Torrie is. :first: And yes, the premium was worth it to me. I wanted the extras and love them!

Yes my v6 is a mid 13 sec car as it sits now but the idea of a turbo car has got me thinking hard. I've never had one before and I love the S550 so this would be perfect. If you are looking to max out performance with the EB then I would recommend the change. My father has a 15 V6 with a tune and bolt ons and the car is very quick for the street. Is it as fast as my EB.. no.. but he bought his car as a good daily and that's what it's used for and does great. If looking to get Max performance the change is worth it. And options are endless with a turbo 4
906 mile trip.... highway/city driving... top down driving... some VERY sprinted runs for long distances... keep at 78 when I could, hit ran and traffic which made me crawl along for a time...-Average MPG you guys get
- What does a tune do performance wise for the EB as far as power gains
-Would you recommend the premium package over the base model, i know it's not much more but is it really worth it?
Thanks to those of you that will answer kindly.
Honestly you can't go wrong with any S550.. I've driven them all and wouldn't trade my EB for anything. It's different and offers as much performance as I could ever need for a street car. Just have to find what packages you want a go for it. You won't be disappointed.Yes my v6 is a mid 13 sec car as it sits now but the idea of a turbo car has got me thinking hard. Be careful what you wish for, as I said earlier boost is addicting. I have had nothing but forced induction cars (other than one random DD) since 2006. All turbo cars except for the 04 Cobra which I did a ported/pullied/spray setup on. I will buy the car that has boost, every time.Yes my v6 is a mid 13 sec car as it sits now but the idea of a turbo car has got me thinking hard. I'm leaning towards premium model as well to much extra features to pass up. I like the different driving modes as well.Premium model is a must for me, that's why I paid as much for my premium nav back up sensor as a base GT (28k OTD in feb) but I average about 19-23 MPG in the city depending how bad I wanna get on it or how bad traffic is. I'm full bolt-on tuned by the way on 93
Sorry, can't post them from work but they are on the last page of this thread.Pic of skyline please.addle:

Hey joe, here is the review of my car
Love the EB, has a lot of torque what these tuners can do with this platform is extremely impressive you can make a great car and out of this drivetrain and platform for a very small investment. Also the eco-boost has a lot of daily drivable power you can take this car through its limits safely without completely obliterating the speed limit right off the bat this allows you to drive a little bit more fun and spirited around town while going through gears and enjoying what the car has to offer. I am personally only seeing about 19 miles per gallon mainly because I always have my foot in it and I'm always driving spirited, with that being said I'm not breaking speed limits or going crazy but I'm always having a fun time with my car
Lastly I'd like to point out that I chose to Lease this car because I wanted to give it a chance at it as a new platform before I bought one and kept it. I'm very glad that I did that because I ordered this car completely optioned out I have everything you can get from the premium package to the drive Modes, heated cooled seats, as well as navigation and the shaker sounds system. Being that I love the car I'm certainly going to get another one but I will tell you this I will absolutely not order any of those premium option. my plan is to get a base eco-boost with the performance package and the recaro cloth seats, the shaker sound system is failing on my car, the USB drives that are in the car have failed already, cooled seats are not cooling very well, and the radio interfaces really not all it's cracked up to be I would rather save nearly $9000 and not get any of those extra options including the blind spot indicator and the reverse camera, then I can have a car that has a lot less to break and if I really really wanted to I could find a way to integrate those options later. The performance package is probably the most important option on this vehicle I think that for what you get that makes the biggest difference
