I don't see any negativity. You came here asking for feedback and that's what you're getting. With all due respect, it seems like you've made up your mind to buy the car and just don't like many of the answers your getting.

This forum is loaded with threads from people who where new to the S550 and bought a modded car that had issues and they regretted it. Many here are just trying to heed that warning.

This car may have been well built and cared for or beat to shit and dumped. To me a 2 owner doesn't mean anything. Especially since the last owner had it less than a year. But if you understand the risk, and have money set aside for repairs then go for it. Just don't be salty over the honest feedback you're getting. 👍🏻
No salt here....and don't mind the answers I'm getting, their helping me to make an informed decision....thanks.

One negative is the BBK exhaust and the car is from a huge street racing area
BBK exhaust isn't a good brand for this gen GT? Or are they not a good brand period.

Not great, not terrible, but easily replaceable if need be. Do you know if is an axle back, cat back or complete system with headers?
Unsure, I haven't driven the car yet, currently negotiating with the dealer now. I told them robvas knocked a couple more points off because of the sub in the trunk....and they said "who?" so looks like that didn't work

Honestly depends on the price your buying this for.
30k? Not so bad.
Anything beyond that whatever risk your taking on multiplies.

The good thing gen 2's and 3's are pretty simple to fix, and to make right. So even if the car were to have issues - so long as you didn't spend that much to acquire it - buying a build usually ends up being cheaper than building one from scratch.

Just depends on your goal - what the price of the car is - what you can talk it down to - and what you have on the side when you find out what's wrong. Make sure you have another daily just in case.

Have fun!

Just saw the kicker sub box in the trunk, knocking another couple points off
Ha. That giant sub box is pretty funny. 🤣

It's priced at 29k with 60k miles. Looks like a bare bones non-premium GT minus the performance mods. That cloth upholstery looks like its separating from the foam.

Since I'm new to this year platform, when you say "non-premium" you mean the interior bits and pieces correct? The advertisement does say " GT Performance Package ", so I'm guessing that is the Brembo brakes etc. performance wise on the chassis correct? Also I'm unsure AZ why you insist on picking the car apart lol, when I go and take a look at it I'll be able to discern what I think a good buying price is. Do you have anything good to say about this particular vehicle or are you always this grumpy lol

OP, you'll be relatively safe if you can get the car at 29k. The lower the better. Worst comes to worst, you got a project on your hands that'll be relatively short and sweet as opposed to building it up yourself.

Yes, the premium option was mostly interior upgrades such has leather, a larger touch-screen, and drive mode toggles.

The PP should have 6 piston brembo brakes on the front, a Torsen differential, an upgraded radiator, larger rear rims/tires. But by the dealers description, I'm not sure if they are referring to the actual factory performance pack option, or just referring to the aftermarket mods.

As for me allegedly "picking your car apart"...buddy you seriously need to grow thicker skin. You're a newbie that came here asking for opinions and you got em. If you came looking for validation because you already decided to buy the car thats on you.
