Wants to keep stock headers and cats…….

What type of track use? Drag, Autox, or road course/HPDE? If HPDE, a supercharger (in my experience) is not needed and causes more issues than it solves. Heat management on these cars at the track is already an issue. No matter what setup you choose, a supercharger will complicate that 10 fold.

Can you really turn it down to basically stock levels of torque on the low end?

You can limit load however you please.

It’s going to be brought to drag strip once a year. No road course just a street car.
