so is there 10 shops that have cracked the tuning on new mustangs ??? Other than getting whipple and Roush tune ??? They cannot be tuned yet.

I just thought the first YT short was interesting and alined to the OP‘s thread ? CRACKED was the punch line In it. I guess wait and see.

Hellion is saying their system for s650 is 2,000hp capable. Full disclosure, I did not watch the video posted above so if it’s a Hellion car, that would explain 1,000hp.

I’ve also heard rumors that ESS is talking with Ford. Procharger already has something for S650 in addition to Whipple. So, you can get boost for an S650, you just have to live with a canned tune.

There's no good way to run e85, for example.

From everything i've seen so far and the timeline that's presented itself with the s650s. There will be no custom tuning, ever. S550 is the last of a dying breed.

Fair point. I’ll be curious if Ford gets in the tuning business for something like e85, would likely be via a partnership with an existing tuner or tuners. Might be pushing EPA envelope doing something like that, but if they control the scope of the tune they might be able to. And would probably be a very narrow scope of what they’re willing to allow a tune for. The question would be do they want to get in that part of the game and I would lean towards no they do not. Given the trend in Mustang sales, it may not matter anyway. I hope it stays for the long haul but 1Q sales numbers were brutal.
