ESS G3 fitment issue? Gen 2 coyote

Hey guys, I got a 2015 Mustang and I’m installing the G3 kit. Everything is easy and simple but for some reason I can’t get the main bracket to sit properly. The bolt that goes to the thermostat doesn’t want to go in. I have the bottom two bolts loosely threaded in so I have enough slack to try and get the thermostat bolt through but no luck. Maybe I got a bad bracket? Has anyone had fitment issues?

I just went through this, ran into exact same issue. I think the cast part must be a new piece with a bit of tolerance issue. It definitely doesn't fit as is in my case, so good to know its not just me. I haven't contacted ESS yet about it.

I had to slightly oversize the holes at both sides and then file a bit more to slot the hole to get it to fit. But eventually I got mine mounted up.

Another thing In my install that needed attention, the clamp at the SC outlet was too small. I had to dig out a bigger clamp from my stash which I luckily had on hand.

So i finally got it to fit as I’ve been trying to figure out a way. I loosed up the spacer that goes to the alternator bolt a little bit and that gave enough slack to get the bolt in. Afterwards I just tightened the spacer.
