Texas Speed and Stainless Works/Power are great choices, you really can't go wrong with either one.

Are you planning on any forced induction in the future? If so, you may want to take a look at some "GREEN" catted headers that are rated for boost, companies like Kooks, LTH, American Racing, Stainless Works/Power, and more offer these "GREEN" or "GESI" cats that can handle boost.

Either way, check out what we have to offer here at Lethal Performance for headers, and let me know if you have any questions.

I was a little leery of my high flow cats lasting from the jump. I never sat on the Wot Box 2 step longer than 2-3 seconds for maybe 15 out of 25 passes at the drag strip (and half of those were actually using the factory launch control). In addition to that, I made some some pulls when tuning for nitrous, a couple of dyno pulls and 5 passes at the strip before mine let go. I say all of that to point out that it seems it can happen with any cat (including the green ones).

Hello, just wondering what the best LTH would be for my 2016 GT Premium, I have Corsa Extreme with a double X pipe but not sure what LTH to go with. I was thinking about Texas speed but then Stainless. Someone help.

Thank you!
Honestly any of them will be fine. It's going to be very loud with the Xtreme catback. Just a heads up. If you want to keep the sound down some, I recommend getting cats.

But for fitment, all of them have stepped up and are much nicer. Pending on your budget has a lot to do with it too. ARH, KOOKS, SW, etc are going to be your top tier headers. Stainless Power, Texas Speed are going to be more of a budget friendly one too. But again, you can't go wrong.

With that said, let us know if we can help as we stock tons of different brands here at Lethal Performance!

Sounds great, it's gonna be fun!

It would be better to just go with the boost-rated GREEN or GESI cats now, so you don't waste money buying new headers again once you install the blower. On most of the headers we offer, there is an option to add "GESI" cats, which are the ones you'd need for boost.

Let me know if you have any questions!

Stay away from LTH. They're excessively loud, every single one I have heard almost made my hears bleed on cold starts. Get ready to be harassed by cops Everytime.
I had LTH brand headers for the first 20,000 miles I owned my 19. No regrets even though they were LOUD AF. Loved the sound with active exhaust but I ended up ruining something in the stock resonator. Took the stock AE off and replaced it with a Borla Type S.. In quiet start mode it was about as loud as AE in normal. Totally bearable. Cold starts in normal mode were ear splitting but fantastic. You could not be within 5 foot behind the car. Only complaints I got were from a few of the gals at work who just happened to be behind my ride when I remote started it one day. Surprised the shit out of them.

Car is back to stock exhaust manifolds now and while I miss the noise, it does sound deeper and less raspy. I blew the engine at 22,000 miles in January and both Roush and the dealership denied warranty coverage because of the headers. In the end, Geico replaced the engine under my $8/mo Mechanical Breakdown Coverage. Geico told me I had to put the stock manifolds back on because I have no cats and the new engine needed to have a warranty. They also flashed the tune back to the canned Roush tune. When it was all said and done, Geico dropped the Mustang and said it was because of "Aftermarket Parts".... Not sure what parts are still on the car but whatever. They told me the only reason they would fix it was because someone screwed up on their end by selling me the coverage. When I called to insure it, I told them it had the Roush blower on it and at that time, they should not have offered me the coverage because it was a known performance car. Pretty sure that they re-wrote the limits of coverage and reprimanded some people afterwards.

/TLDR
Headers and tune will be re-installed in the next month or so. Loved the LTH brand headers.

Oh yeah, I was pulled over 3 times for speeding and NEVER got a ticket or a noise complaint. I think they wanted to check out the car :p The first time was by another Mustang who was undercover. I went from 70 to 120 and he got behind me and flashed his lights... Oopsie.

Then go straight to 2” primary’s, Kook’s, Stainless Works, ARH. Kooks is at the top of the list.
