Need Advice on Camber Bolt installation

Hey everyone, wanted to see if I can get some advice if anyone has done this but I currently have my 21 mustang GT lowered about 1 inch all around on eibach pro kit. When I installed them I also installed eibach camber bolts with 1.75 degrees of adjustment. I had it aligned and all were within factory specs but not perfect. my tires still wear on the inside so I bought some BMR camber bolts with 2.5 degrees of adjustment to replace them. I didn’t have the time to install them myself so I had a local shop do them. After I picked up the car I realized that instead of replacing the eibach bolts with the BMR ones they said the only way they could get it perfect was to put the BMR ones in the bottom and keep the eibachs in the top so now I have camber bolts on top and bottom in the front instead of just the top like normal. The alignment is now perfect but my question is, is that safe ? I don’t track the car it’s just a daily driver but I’ve never seen that done. I called BMR and they said shouldn’t be an issue if I’m not tracking the car. I know I could do camber plates but didn’t want to tear it all out again and redo it if the camber bolts work. Just wanted to get some other opinions. Thanks !

Not sure I’d be happy tbh, camber bolts are smaller bolts, I’d rather have one set of originals in the bottom holes. Maybe that’s just me being cautious though

Here is what I was just told by Steeda earlier this week. I bought most of their suspension pieces so I could upgrade to the HP Mach level since my car is a non HP Mach. Anyway, I asked if I should by the camber bolts and what they said to me is this: the bolts were really designed for people who have had cars that had been in some sort of accident or maybe a bad pothole or curb hit that made something unable to be properly adjusted. If you want your car lowered, the only proper way is with the strut mounts. Now are you able to use those bolts instead, yes, but that is not what they were designed for, they call them an accident replacement part.

Compare the torque spec for the camber bolts with the original bolts and decide if you are ok with that much less clamping force on your suspension.

I'm to understand that wearing of inside edges isn't about camber, but toe.

Evidently the key is 0 toe.

i have the camber bolt on top only. one side is leaning in more than the other. toe really matters unless you track it. for daily use, just set camber close to spec and toe close to 0

We're not discussing track tires with 50 laps/1000 highway KMs on them.

The OP asked about DD street tires. I'm offering info others have shared with me about alignment, and from my DD tires with 18,000 miles on them that are fine everywhere except the inside edges, just like the OP's.

Put regular bolt back in, and fix the toe. Wear will solve itself then.

I wouldn't run a single camber bolt, much less two.
