I'm going to install my BMR performance springs, camber bolts and Steeda subframe alignment bushings on Thursday (hopefully). I need advice on how to set up the camber bolts. I've been told to drive the car for a week to let the springs settle, so I made an appointment for alignment on Friday of next week. What would be the best way to handle the install of the camber bolts? I don't want to wear my tires prematurely before I get the alignment. Should I load the suspension and try to make the camber as close to 0 as possible? I was thinking of putting a level on the rotor and getting the bubble as close to center as I can. What do you guys think? Am I on the right track or way off in my thinking?

Throw them on and don't worry. Driving for a week with your camber off a bit isnt going to hurt the tires enough to even notice. The change in toe from the drop is going to wear your tires out more than the camber.

Your plan will work just fine. Once the wheel is on you can can easily see how if the camber is to much and adjust again pretty easily. If it's not perfect as long its not crazy agressive a week won't kill your tires.

This. I did the same thing you are proposing.

Let them settle for a week or so. Don't set it at zero, go to the -1 range. You'll want to do a toe alignment as well...that's what really kills tires.

My alignment was fine after I installed my springs. I didn't even need the camber bolts. They got everything within spec with the stock hardware. I've got steeda progressives, steeda bushings, and the subframe alignment kit.

For the bushings. The lower is a pain. Get some WD40 and wedge it in there. I then threaded the bolt and used some vise grips to pull it into place. Easiest way to do it. The first one was a pain and took me an hour to figure it out. 2nd went on in 2 minutes.

Decided to leave the camber bolts out. I'll have the alignment guy install them if needed. Thanks, guy!
