Sweet! I think nascar used Mach 1’s last year for an event but I don’t remember which track it was. Pretty sure that pace car was red

Yes, the M1 was also used as a Pace Car in 2021. There was a thread in here about a blue one and a red one seen during the events.

Back in the 70's, "ARI" owned some NASCAR tracks and they purchased some 200 1970 Mach 1's to be used - 20 per track. Not sure whatever happened to those cars or if they're documented on any classic sites for current ownership.

I am not a fan of the color of the pace car. The race cars look like the Mustang we just bought. HOW COOL IS THAT!

I wouldn't want the big Mach 1s all over it but I kind of like that added bigger stripe at the top of the door.

My coworker mentioned this to me yesterday I think it was. He was like "hey that looks just like Devan's car, yup same color and everything how cool is that!" he was pretty excited when he told me about it and cool to hear something like that from someone else.

I don't watch typically ever, but would have been cool to see for sure.

I really like that as well after you mentioned it, went up to check it out and it looks great IMO.
