I know Ford Parts is still showing availability for a Mach 1 designated car cover. I originally ordered from the Ford Mustang option build sheet, when ordering my 2013 Boss 302 new. A little disappointed, as it was on the thin side, and lacked multi layer, & an inner supper soft liner. I’m thinking of going with Carcovers. Likely their Gold Shield cover. Designed for outdoor use, waterproof, multi layer, fitted, soft inner layers. The car will be in my pole barn come October/November.
The first oil change I understand is at 1000 miles. Any recommendations and I’m interested in knowing the full capacity. My ‘13 Boss 302 uses 5x50 almost 9 quarts. This is a completely unmodified car ( 8,200 kms or 5095 miles ). Thanks! Thanks everyone! 🇨🇦

Get full PPF. Check local classifieds for car cover also with PPF your car will look new forever (if parked indoors / undercover) and doesn't matter which cover though I do like the indoor right fitting ones that don't trigger alarm when wind blows.
I do cover mine when camping or parking outdoors overnight to block bird droppings mainly.

My unfortunate pole barn experience is that birds and tree rats will still roost on and foul your car from the bottom truss cross-support if you don’t plank the “ceiling” to prevent it. Don’t ask me how I know but it involves de-pooping fiberglass boats between fishing trips to Florida.

For us city folk, wtf is a pole barn? :giggle:
Picture’s worth a thousand words. These things are a staple of southern culture. I used to take a lawn chair and iPad and go sit under mine just for enjoyment. This one is actually a Cadillac model. Maybe more of a Benz comparison.

Thank you for the clarification!
Would have never guessed that this was what a pole barn was.

What is a pole barn? Here’s a definition:
le:
The sturdy post-frame construction and durable materials, like steel or wood, make pole barns highly reliable and weather-resistant. To save costs there is no formal foundation. The floor is poured heavy duty ( moisture and shifting proof ), upon to 13 inches in thickness. Although no excavated foundation, an inner concrete wall measuring 20 inches in thickness, which extends 6 feet below the frontline. Extensive heavy gauge reinforcement 8x12 foot rustproof steel and zinc mesh sheets are used to strengthen the concrete. The pole barn has full walls, heavy man and a combination of industrial grade 12x12 roll up electric insulated doors. Usually heated via natural gas industrial furnace, and air conditioned. That’s a Canadian 🇨🇦 built Pole barn. It must be built to rigid specs to withstand weather extremes. They are often lower profile in design. I’ve had no issues with bird or any form of animal intrusion. During the winter I bait with agriculture grade rodicide.

At least put some gravel layer there, car should never stand on grass or soil.
I use Covercraft Custom WeatherShield HP cover under car shelter since 2021 for like 360 days out of 365 and with fullwrap PPF there's no issues, it's perfect.

Yeah you’re sure right; I hadn’t noticed that in the pic I surfed up.

I always floored mine with concrete. Or as we call it here in GA and N. FL, ce-ment.

Parking on dry concrete is key. After I retired, I built a pole barn on my farm. It’s fully enclosed, so no weather intrusion. But I always use agricultural grade Rodicide , kills mice to raccoons. Plus a soft car cover that breathes.
