i read the Installation instructions for the hotlicks flame kit..... ita a fun read so basicly the kit cuts power to all the coils while you are 2stepping hence the nce for the ing codes from op... as the rpms fall keep your foot planted for flames. the kit has the car shoot fuel thru the motor, cats and muffler then a spark plug in a bung 8-10 inches from the tip lights it up. so your o2 sensors and cats are getting soaked in fuel then it ignited creating a carbon fouled mess... then mentioned missfires and backfires directly afterwards and that when i stopped reading!!!

stop using the flame kit. change out the o2s and beat the hell out of the car to burn that shit out of the cats only if the car is safe to do so incase any underlying issues will make it not safe to drive.

2 stepping can lead to cat failure. My high flow cats blew out (presumably from 2 stepping).

I can imagine soaking them with unburned fuel from a flamethrower kit will speed up the process of failure.

I believe it's totally invisible when not used.

We did it on an old beater when I was a kid. Windshield washer tank and pump through a copper oil pressure gauge line to a small carb jet into the exhaust pipe. Wire the coil in parallel with the one running the car, hooked to a spark plug in the exhaust pipe.

Throws flames without having to disconnect the engine.

Not even a 2-step. it COMPLETELY kills the coils ha-ha.
The wiring alone is probably a RATS NEST of black wires & poorly crimped buttconnectors.
Leggo the switch, bad things happen. Congrats on killing yer coils OP.
Can't take anyone serious when they install crap like this.
