As per the guide just released today (thanks, JarStang)...

I was thinking about the 50th anniversary appearance option, but since you can't spoiler delete on it, I didn't take it.

I'd love the 19" luster nickel wheels of that option, but spoiler delete rules the day.

I might purchase them separately or make a test fitment of the optional 19" luster nickel wheels from my 2010 GT at some point. I think they might not clear the calipers, however, and spacers might have to be used.

At any rate, for a daily driver, the 18" tires will be less expensive.

Looks good. I agree this car does better with no spoiler. Now we just need Chris or someone (any other photochoppers around here?) to chop a replica of your order! :)

Have we seen any preproductions rolling around or at shows with these wheels? the 641 18" Foundry Low-Gloss Paint/Machined-Aluminum?

I'm not sure about this, but maybe there isn't a spoiler delete option with the 50th Anniversary Appearance Package is because it doesn't come with a Rear Spoiler.

EDIT: I originally misinterpreted the OP.

It looks like the 50th Anniversary Edition has spoiler delete as a standard, but the 50th Package does not. However, you can get the Performance Pack with the 50th Package, and the PP does have spoiler delete, so maybe if you got the 50th Package and the Performance Package you'd get the spoiler delete that way. Not exactly sure how that would go down.

If you look at the standard equipment with the GT (base or premium), standard equipment is "Raised Blade Decklid Spoiler". I think I recall hearing at the Dearborn reveal that this spoiler would be standard on the GT models.

That's why I am thinking without a spoiler delete option, you get a spoiler. I could be wrong, which would change my order :)

However, since I mainly just want the wheels, I probably would wind up getting those separately, which I suspect will be more pricey than all of the 50th anniversary appearance items together.

That´s how I read it too. The 50th Anniversary package explicitly cannot be combined with spoiler delete. Hence all cars with that package come with a spoiler.

I deleted my post because I misread 50th Anniversary appearance package as the actual LE model.

It looks like the appearance package comes with a unique and absolutely tiny rear spoiler.

edit:.......Then again this model comes with the standard GT rear spoiler. Now I'm getting confused, though I really don't care either way.

I don't really get the obsession over deleting the spoiler on this forum. To me the spoiler on this model is REALLY unobtrusive compared to previous models, and IMO it's not really worth fretting over. While I understand having a preference to pass on it, I for one certainly would not be willing to forgo other great options just for the sake of deleting the spoiler.

What great options are you referring to?

I absolutely LOVE the spoiler NOT being on this model, moreso than any Mustang model since 1994 (except the '01 and '08/'09 Bullitts). It was in my top 2 appearance requirements. I easily can pick that over wheels, primarily because I am going to daily drive this car.

Yes, they are not as obtrusive, but that rear fastback and decklid shape is so CLEAN!

This is the spoiler that I thought I heard was for the GT back at the December reveal in Dearborn and in the order guide listed as standard equipment. A bit bumming on that spoiler delete limitation, but I'll survive :)

As per above, it appears that the spoiler delete is not available when opting for the 50th Anniversary Package. If I wanted that package, with this spoiler being so unobtrusive, the lack of a spoiler delete is certainly not going to prevent me from getting it. That was my primary point...

This is the only option I've seen with the spoiler conundrum.
