455HP/455TQ LT1- nice to have but its only 20hp. Tune/CAI can get you there with extra
8 Speed Auto/Rev-matching Manual- Nice to have but not mandatory
TFT Display fully digital speedo- Meh, I prefer the analog gauges actually. More digital=more can break or go wrong
Heated Steering wheel- Meh 1/4 of the country would never use this.
HUD- Meh, never been a fan in it's current iteration. It has a long way to go. It's also more distraction from more gadget people who can't even drive to begin with don't need. Glancing down at gauges has worked for 100 years.
Active-Exhaust- Not necessary since most of us are ripping out our stock exhaust anyway to get a custom tone. Id rather have 20 tone/volume choices than open/closed still on whatever the manufacturer dictates as max volume/tone.
better LED interior lighting- Meh gimmicky. The Mustang's is done tastefully at least the interior doesn't look like a teen designed it.
Soft-touch everywhere- I think the Mustang interior is fine honestly. I'm not feeling up my interior but driving the car.
Magnaride suspension- nice to have and surely coming in the Mustang- but unless you are pushing the car's limits like on the track few will notice despite buying the option.
infotainment joystick- not really a positive
wireless-charging- not really a positive since only 1 mainstream smartphone has built in wireless charging right now. Aftermarket wouldn't be expensive either.
Personally I think people like more options to say they have more options, not because they will use them. I am willing to be 95% of the PP GTs will never see a track/agrresive driving situation where even the normal GT components would be pushed to their limits to really need the PP.
It's psychological to have the big brakes etc even if you never really need them- more of a bragging right than utility.
The current Camaro is already thousands more than a comparably equipped GT. Once you through lighter, better engine, magnaride, active exhaust and the goodies on you have a $50k car!!
And looks still count which is why 90% of people buy the car they buy, not for the performance numbers. And it seems a major consensus that the Gen 6 looks like crap.
