no that's still not right - according the 2016 gt configurator (base) the bright aluminum is there unless you select the seat & wheel package (or whatever it's called i mentioned earlier) then you get the darker aluminum.

EDIT: forgot to mention my oil press did not turn red when in accessory mode. so who knows why that one is purple or how they got it that for the pic.

The $995 package I believe you're referencing, on a base model GT, says this in terms of components:

The Interior & Wheel Package includes:

•19”x8.5” Low Gloss Black Painted Machined-Aluminum Wheels
•Embroidered Pony Logo Outline on Seat Back
•Premium Carpeted Floor Mats with Embroidered Pony Logo

OK, yeah, I see what you guys are saying, you're both right, the first/left picture below from the Ford.com configurator is a Base GT, then I added the "Interior and Wheel package" and the second/right pic is the interior change!

So if I am not a huge fan of this, is the silver/ gray dash piece from the gt350 a direct swap?

The only option on my Base model with the carbon fiber looking dash was "Black Accent Package". Also came with 3.55 gears, but doubt that had anything to do with the dash.

I don't think its GT PP that gets the faux carbon fiber metal look. I believe it's all GT. I also have it and I have a base GT.

I have a `16 EB PP and the dash has the faux Carbon Fiber.
