Is it normal for the muffler bypass valves to open during throttle tip-in after adding a supercharger? I'm estimating that the valves open up at about 25% throttle and close immediately after I back off.

As you know, the muffler bypass valve goes into quiet mode automatically while in 6th gear. Interestingly, I don't recall the noise issue ever being a problem in 6th gear.

Is there a remedy?

Is my supercharger causing too much back pressure for the stock exhaust system? Is it time to upgrade to a 3 inch exhaust?

I believe they open based on engine load. 25% throttle with the S/C is a bit different than 25% with the stock engine.

I'd talk to your tuner and have them tweak that, sorry I don't know exactly what needs changed.

Can you set the throttle position value where the valve opens? I would love to reset mine to open later (than the stock setting). Can Forscan do that?
