Yup.....Looks like he's tuned and racing.

If you are going to tune you must be prepared to pay.....

In previous threads, Stormtrooper has indicated his car was producing 27lbs of peak boost.
If this is the same person who posted about losing a motor on tune+ FB group just recently he should also mention that he ran his motor hard and took it to the drag instead of causing senseless paranoia for others on this forum. Its gotten to the point where members are afraid to mod / enjoy their cars.

Running the car at the track isn't really relevant for the average person who only goes a couple times a year, a mustang should be fine to handle that. It's more a matter of how aggressive his tuning was IMO

I understand that, thats why I included the quote of 27lb boost. All of that info should have been included in the OP.

Just to make it perfectly clear, in no way am I inferring that his blown motor is the result of a tune!

I hope that my statement is clearly understood.

Adam is tuning my car right now. I'm very happy with the results and I thoroughly trust Adam to do so. I didn't go to Adam to make a monster 1/4 race car. I wanted my engine to run at its optimal performance with efficiency. If more power is a secondary product of that efficiency, then I'm better for it.

I kind of kick myself for not saying anything to Stormtrooper, but in my thoughts, I figured he knew how his car felt and he was comfortable with it.

At the end of the day, its the decisions we make ourselves and must accept any and all responsibility. Its the measuring point of being a Man!

Seriously just using shock factor to gain his thread attention. If in the first post he mentioned he was tuned and frequently racing I would have stopped reading there. I don't care what engine you have if your going to play and push limits you will break something. Performance = money. I'm running the unleashed tune. I open the up every time knowing full well I'm rolling the dice on my engine. Almost 40k Miles and I have 0 issues. I'm not even running a catch can. Oil changes every 2500 miles though

!
Don't we all know the risks when it comes to pushing engines, especially when upping the boost

Stormtrooper's car was flogged like a slave horse. Supposedly Adam was waiting a while to do some revisions on the guy's car but never got the logs.

I did like Stormtrooper's custom Vibrant exhaust setup though.

Guys, let's not kick the guy while he is down. Stormtrooper never implied in his original post that he blamed the engine or tunner. Right now the guy has to be hurting and should have our support.
stormtrooper Looking at the racing you do I would think the best course of action is to have MAP build you a long block. $3k+ whatever a head costs and it should take all the abuse you can throw at it!

What's the count on this forum for blown ecoboost motors? I was trying to add them up but lost count. If we have the number of forum member and the # of blown motors we can come up with an odds, haha like if you're on this forum you have a 1 in 1000 chance your motor will blow...

Anyhow, sorry for your loss brother. Hope everything pans out. At the end of the day it's just a motor. Worse things can happen in life. Good thing is, the engine is only around 4 grand (if Ford won't fix it)....unlike the expensive coyote engine!

Not trying to kick him while he's down, it sucks that it happened. But this thread is click bait tier and should of been properly detailed.

I'm sure Adam will chime in with more info since it was his customer

Mine is a 09/14 engine. I wonder if there's a bad batch of them? So far so good though. I'm almost to 40k miles.
