I care about infotainment
I was once told by a retired, professional racing driver, the best mod you can do is to your cars are the brakes, the ability to slow down from a high speed to enable safe and fast entry to a bend, is better than going in too fast and getting out of shape on exit.

Also, in the words of Sir Jackie Stewart, a racing legend of few peers, "don't get on the gas unless you're certain that you'll not take your foot off it on any bend or exit"

Braking ability is key to fast driving/being in full control. I'm sure my cousins on your side of the pond can comment on how the brakes on the S550 perform in this respect, it's something that I'll need to find out for myself, but I'm pretty sure they are awesome on this variant.
I think this is why the PP is so popular; it's certainly the reason I opted for it. It's nice to know that if I do decide to track my car that the Brembos won't fade.

The PP brakes are excellent. We have been beating the snot out of one of our PP cars, and the OE brakes are doing a damn good job of keeping up. The car is stock power level, no tune....but has a lot of suspension goodies and some nice 295 hoosier tires. 1.2+ G's in braking and lateral....no sweat.

I suggest a nice suspension package to start (I am bias of course) - as these cars just do so much better with a nice basic spring and bar set-up. The OE springs, especially fronts....are just too soft on the PP at 165lb/in. And the rear bars need upsized even more than the small increase they feature (22.2mm vs 21.7mm on base)

The cool thing about these cars is that you can really make them work well, without pouring a crazy amount of money into them. For example, I have had a few customers keep their OEM Front bar, and drill a hole in it....and grab our rear bar (and end links). That, with a nice IRS cradle support kit like our CB005, and a decent set of springs - such a big difference, it is hard to even put words to it.

If you have any questions about suspension, let me know. I live suspension....literally.

Happy Modding!

For those of us tired of wheel hop, should Viking Shocks be at the top of the list to help get rid of wheel hop?
