Hey guys, looking at buying a 17 premium auto. Only has 4K miles and I’d like to keep the warranty intact. What are my options for mods without a tune? Is it even worth it? How much gain? Any help would be awesome.

Several companies (PMAS, Steeda) have no tune intakes available that will gain you 5hp on their own...but besides that there's not much else out there that will gain good amount of power without touching the stock tune.

Weight reduction is just about the only way to make your car faster in a straight line without touching the tune.

Exhaust, lighter wheels, better tires. Exhaust just makes it more pleasant to hear, but the lighter wheels and better tires will improve the handling and be a good difference compared to stock.

Otherwise, cold air intake or drop in filter as mentioned already. Some dealers might say something but most probably won't care.

With our CAI, you could go no tune & then when ready, remove the insert & run a tune:

https://www.steeda.com/steeda-proflow-mustang-cold-air-intake-manual-gt-2015-555-3193.html

When you run Steeda parts, you are getting the satisfaction of our parts not precipitating damage or causing warranty concerns. If you are looking to upgrade certain parts, speak to your dealer or other former members - they may be able to recommend mod friendly dealers.

Best Regards,

TJ

Engine mods? No, not worth the $ without a tune.

Drop in filter, suspension, and tires. Don't bother with the others unless you're willing to tune it.
