Any chance for the Ecoboost logo as the boot animation?
Sponsored
Does it already exist on any Ford model?Any chance for the Ecoboost logo as the boot animation?
I'm sorry but I don't think is included in the latest software.Any chance for the Ecoboost logo as the boot animation?
Not with as-built, until Ford decides (in a newer version of Sync than 2.2) to have an Ecoboost logo for one of their cars.Any chance for the Ecoboost logo as the boot animation?
So now that we have 2.2 available, what are the chances of getting the digital speedometer from the Shelby working? Is this still a unicorn? Not with as-built, until Ford decides (in a newer version of Sync than 2.2) to have an Ecoboost logo for one of their cars.
You can only use as-built to change settings to mimic other trim levels, other markets, or for things Ford's engineers maybe intended to offer but did not in the final product.
That might be a hardware change. So now that we have 2.2 available, what are the chances of getting the digital speedometer from the Shelby working? Is this still a unicorn?
Not what I wanted to hear... :frusty:That might be a hardware change.
I don't think "might be" is strong enough. That might be a hardware change.
I tend to type like I talk. Either extremely directly, short, and succinct, or I start to add words to drag sentences on that drip with sarcasm, irony, and whenever possible... sarcastic irony.I don't think "might be" is strong enough.
I think that does not exist on 2015. Our cars are too old :shrug:Was anyone able to get the GT350 snake to display on a 2015 model? I tried it and it didn't work. I was able to remove the double horn beep though.
Those are Sync 3 only. 2015's originally came with MFT.Was anyone able to get the GT350 snake to display on a 2015 model? I tried it and it didn't work. I was able to remove the double horn beep though.
Need someone with access to IDS to try and flash the IPC with the GT350 firmware. Not sure if it would work, but I have a feeling it would. I base this theory on the fact that the early release Focus ST did NOT have the ST animation on the IPC nor the quad screen option. I asked the Ford dealer to flash the most current firmware and voila those options appeared.I don't think "might be" is strong enough.
As far as any of us that have tried have been able to figure out, it's a hardware change. On a lower level, it could just be the firmware in the GT350 IPC - but a cluster swap would probably be the only way right now until we figure out how to flash IPC firmware.
What I would worry about here is the hardware differences. The IPC controls the speedo and tach as well, right? Those are physically different on the GT350's. Who knows if they would continue working just fine, or if they would suddenly read way off.Need someone with access to IDS to try and flash the IPC with the GT350 firmware.
