so the dealership called and said every time they take my car on a test drive the dash lights up like a Christmas tree ,now they are putting a complete wiring harness in the car. I am going on 270 days without my car and ford still won't do a buyback guess it's attorney time.

That's F-ing ridiculous! Over 38 weeks, they should make it right. Did they give you a loaner?

So what is the exact reason that Ford is denying a Buy Back?

Reading through, you’ve already had the engine replaced? And now they’re going to replace a harness? Is it the engine harness or a body hrness?

Probably because they won't initiate a buyback without a diagnosis. That's the reason I was given.

I wasn't buying that either, so I got an attorney. My case was settled earlier this year.

they are saying engine harness needs replacing and they are also saying they have no idea when it will be done. The service writer and the warranty manager have both told ford they need to buy the car back but they won't so it is now in an attorney's hands I am tired of dealing with it. 41 weeks!

so after 306 days I finally got my car back , I have been driving it for a few weeks with no issues though I still have an attorney going after ford for a buyback or whatever they will do to compensate me for all the hassle I have had to deal with.

well I have had my car back since mid October and so far so good , ford has denied a buy back but did offer 7000 cash for my troubles . My lawyer is trying to get more so we will see.
