I would take it to the dealer if you are unsure what to check and don't have the tools. It sounds like an injector issue if its only happening at idle (per your first post). If it was low on compression it would most likely misfire all the time or feel low on power.

ok yeah it isn't down on power ,runs fine at speed ,was monitoring the fuel trims and the bank 2 ltft was at 9.3% and bank 1 ltft was at 3 % just wondering why such a big difference and could it be related to the miss.

If you don't mind me asking, what is your build date on the current engine? Mine is 6/19 but haven't had any issues but only at 6k miles so far.

so my car has been at the dealer since Dec. 16th for the low compression on cylinder 1. The dealer has put a new head on it didn't fix the problem, now a short block ,it was supposed to be ready last Monday but they called me and told me it still had low compression on cylinder 1 and was a little low on cylinder 2 . I asked how could this be with a new short block ,they have no idea , I have started a buy back process, 23 weeks is to long and now they are just throwing parts at it. This is the 1st ford I have ever owned and probably the last.
