Discount Tire had 4 305/30/19 4S yesterday and I grabbed 2 of them so they might still have the other 2 for anyone that needs them.

I was just looking at Tire Rack and they are showing two more options in our stock sizes now. P Zero’s and Cup 2’s. I bought new rims and 4S.

Tire Rack is finally showing some availability in the PSS 305/35R19. Looks like they're expecting delivery in 8 weeks. If you want/need some new tires for Spring, here's your chance!

Pilot Super Sports in OEM GT350 sizes are now back in stock, in case anyone is still looking. Mine were on backorder and just came in today.

Got mine delivered last week!... installing tomorrow. Really not happy that Ford decided to put Cup2's on the 2019 non-r 350's. Then they tried to justify it by saying it was a special compound different from the R, that may be true but it's still a track focused tire that is crap on the street and in rain....

Looking forward to some comparison reports since you had been driving on the PSC2s awhile.

They were getting beat up by ZL1 1LEs, and a lot of that was due to the tire. So, grippier tires to make up for the deltas, regardless of what the consumer actually wanted. It's all about the autorag comparos.

My Super Sport 295 and 305/35/19's just got delivered today from Discount Tire. Local tire shops couldn't get them.
Might consider going to 20" wheels in the future if this keeps up. Plenty of choices out there for 305/30/20's and 295/30/20's which come out to the same diameter as the 19's.

yes, i hear you.. really like the car, but the tires and the spoiler I do not. But both can be remedied.

Have you driven an earlier GT350 on the pilot super sports? The claims from Ford are that the FP spec PSC2's are a different compound and tread pattern and should beat the super sports in both the dry and the wet. I can confirm that the perfectly smooth stripe on the rear of the original super sports for the GT350 are less than ideal in the rain as well and require a good bit of caution in their usage.

I have not had experience with the regular mpss, but from everything i've heard and the bit I've experienced with the Cup2's is that the standard oem mpss last much longer, tramline less, and kick up less rocks and debris.
I drove the 2019 twice before I put it away and both times I was cringing at how much rock and debris was being kicked up on the underbelly of the vehicle. The tramlning was significant.
I did actually test drive a 2016 track pack a couple years ago but that was just a "dealership ride along" so I couldn't really get a good feel for the vehicle.. I did notice that that model did not tramline as bad as my 2019
I do know that the regular mpss must be used with caution in rainy conditions as well as colder weather. I thought about going to the Michelin 4S model, but because of the lack of OEM sizing I didn't want to deal with a lower ride height, messing with the camber/alignment, etc. Apparently Ford did some re-engineering of the suspension so didn't want to sway too far from OEM sizing. I also am not ready to replace the stock rims with something after market to accomodate the 4s tires. Maybe down the road. If I decide to do mainly street and back roads vs track I might invest in a good set of Michelin AS3

Just FYI - I got my Michelin PSS tires last Wednesday from TireRack, and mounted on Friday at the local Ford dealer. The order was nearly three months old, but the customer service representative did a good job keeping me informed of the delivery status.

Had Pilot SS on my Corvette GS. Never had a problem in the rain.
