So couldn’t find anything on this and started experimenting, my winter blend in New England is e77, as I raise my boost to 20+ I’m wanting to keep knock at bay by raising alcohol content in e77 with VP-M1 making it test up to e81 using a 10 to 1 ratio, a/f and short terms are good on logs, anyone else try this or have experience mixing the two seems to work

Methanol is corrosive.
Your mix ratio will mitigate the corrosiveness but nonetheless there’s merit for concern.
Most guys (racers) using methanol typically flush out the fuel system after use. This is especially critical with aluminum components.

I don't see a problem in mixing the two. Added bonus is that methanol is much cheaper per barrel.

I think e77 is pretty much as knock resistant as e85 , or atleast very close.
