For harder driving and the car seeing higher rpm specially with my setup 0w-40 is the right choice. Plus walmart has it for $26 a jug. Made in germany. If you remember, s197 track pack required 5w-50. I would run gc (now Belgium) 0w-30 but only autozone carries it and they want almost $10 per qrt.

So your going to run 0w40 even though car requieres 5w20? I thought the was bad to do?
Like Niz said. I shift my car about 7300-7400 RPM and do Mtn runs in my area where I am pushing the car hard for 15 minutes at a time in 95 degree temps.

I have been running 0W-40 for almost 20 months now.
