Please-->Show us a picture of the Ferrari style your talking about.

They definitely need at least an one-two inch extension so I can keep my hands closer to the 10:00 & 02:00 position to allow shifting with my Ring & Pinky fingers. Now I hang my thumbs on the center steering-wheel brace so I can shift with my index finger-->:tsk:
i think he means something like this: http://image.superstreetonline.com/f/17246377/epcp_0904_06_z+Novitec_Ferrari_599_GTB_Fiorano+steering_wheel.jpg

this look really nice. does anyone know if it will fit on 2015 mustang?
Saw this before I went out for a drive. I didn't do a visual inspection or take any measurements but I felt around the paddles and it feels like the bottom of them are a little longer then what would fit in these extenders. I'll try and take a closer look tomorrow.

Any update on this topic? Does anyone know if we can dismount the stock paddle and install bigger, metal ones instead of having overlays?

They will. Coming from a CNC backround, I can guarantee that someone will reverse-engineer a modified version of the current paddles that are better looking and/or have better feel. Aluminum is so easy to machine that there would be a very low cost in manufacturing them, aside from the Developement in design and fixturing. I'm sure those who come out with them would even customize them most any way you'd want, at a cost.

I am constantly poking my left shift paddle with my fingers in the wrong direction (towards the gauge cluster) when reaching for the wheel. That part is gonna break at some point.

Carbon or Aluminum for me!

This is one of the things I really want for this car....

I am hoping for someone - the Hurst version for Chevy is bad ass!
