Changed my oil the other day and went with a 5w-30 ( 2018 gt pp1 37k) in hopes to make the tick go away a bit. Seems about the same but today I cut open the filter and there were about 5 or so super super small metallic flakes, maybe the size of a tip of a needle. At first glance they looked like little bubbles, if you weren't looking for metal flakes you would of 100% missed them, tried to get a picture but my phone wouldn't pick them up.

Should I be concerned? I don't beat on the car but at times do some rather spirited driving when its "safe" to do so.
Anything else I should be looking at? I am assuming a magnetic drain plug is going to be the next thing Ill buy.

Thank you,

Get a drain plug w magnet to monitor. If flakes are small like these, it's just inprecision machine works.
