Check Your Oil Filter

I recently bought a Motorcraft FL-500S oil filter from Walmart (or so the box said). But when I opened the box while changing my oil, inside was an FL-400S filter! I'll be double-checking from now on.

Just wanted to let everyone know so you don't end up with the wrong filter like I did!

It's a Walmart thing ... people swap filters all the time so they can get a more expensive filter in a cheaper marked box. But yeah, always check the box contents before checking out, and also look for any obvious defects on the filter.
