Hey guys

I did my oil change the other day. Verified it had the proper amount let the car run for a while it was fine. Then I start hearing this sound. I haven't really heard it since but it didn't sound right. It was from bottom of engine

Any idea? Or common causes of just normal?

Mine does the same noise sometimes. If I overfill the oil just a tad it seems to go away.

Mine does it too until it's warmed up.

Have you drained your oil into a container and looked for glitter or metal content? Found some in mine when changing the oil today...

Oh man... No I didn't recall seeing any last time I did my oil. I still have some of that oil leftover though I'll take a look and post

Mine has done that since 3K miles though and I'm now at 16K and I just finally noticed metallic content in my oil lots of glitter

i checked what i had left of it, and I dont see any metallic glitter, or any signs of metal. Just oil. I change the oil when it was at 50% life-o-meter. (about every 5k).

If you take it to the dealer let me know how it goes, and if that sound played a roll at all.

Exact same noise here, since about 3k mile mark. It's embarrassingly loud and some days are worse than others. Would like to find the source and get it taken care of. Goes away after fully warmed up.

Any of you feel like the car is underpowered that has this noise?

That A10 2018 is starting to look better and better.

Nope.
Honestly I'm not even worried about it. My 05 cobalt ss s/c would do the same thing. It was fine for the 80k miles I had it. Now if I start seeing metal in the oil.....
