Anyone ever thought of making a custom toggle switch that cuts into the traction control plug that is under the hood, so you don't have to get under the hood every time you need to plug/unplug it. I prefer to drive with it unplugged, but anywhere I go 3-wheeling I get stuck and have to go and plug it back in. It would be so much easier with a switch that goes into the cabin.

That would be nice. When you want to max take off spinning the tires without TC it would be great. It Wouldn't be to hard. Just buy a High Quality (Micro) toggle switch and mount under your drivers side dash. Tap into the TC wires or use a relay. I might look at this this summer.
Would be nice. Good Luck

I am trying to find a wiring diagram of the plug to figure out which wire to cut into.

If some one has the plug number I can look it up on my manual diagram.

Well that is the P/N for the Plug but it helped me research. The Connector (C126) seems to be a One Wire which runs from fuse 62 to the ABS system. Here is schematic. I think this is the wire since it goes to the ABS Fuse people keep talking about pulling.
Since it is a Power wire and not a Signal wire you can just tap into the wire at the connector, run the two wire through the engine fire wall and under your drivers side dash where you can mount the switch. Keep me posted. I will maybe do this week end just to see if I can spin the tires without TC kicking in.

The plug is just a loop. Cut the loop, and wire the switch in-line with it. Easiest thing in the world. You’d be just creating an interrupt in the circuit.

Confused. I can turn it off from the drivers seat, with the oem toggle switch.
If you hold it for 10 seconds or so, I can shut it and advanced track off.

(we talked about it feels like hundred times) - yes - you can - until it decided to turn itself back on ("Service AdvanceTrac") - if you drive the car hard enough in specific conditions.

Is this something those with pp1/2 or hhp would notrun into?
iirc track mode and turning the adv track off, it stays off.
I ran road america hard for 20 laps, then cool off, then another 20 and didn't have it turn back on,

Any car runs into it including GT350s - some have theory that it is a malfunctioning wheel speed sensor or failing wheel bearing - my car would do it while autocrossing on a bumpy lot with some non-zero yaw rates - on a Magride car that puts suspension back in a normal mode, traction/advancetrac comes back on, throttle mapping goes to Normal as well (if you were in a track mode).

gen 2 PP1 would do it in any kind of drift, it would lock the right front wheel up, and spin you around that one wheel, cut all engine power then the engine would die. unplug the stupid plug under the hood, and like magic, i can blow donuts until the tires blow.
