I will say that keeping the PP wheels clean is more of a challenge than keeping my black car clean. I have to clean my wheels every other day.

I just spent four hours taking off the wheels and giving them a thorough cleaning. Polished the fronts and backs including the lug nuts.

I'm doing magnetic cause that's the best colour... Duh. Jk but everyone who has black hates to love it. Check out orange though, if you can find one. They look amazing.

Black is sex on wheels when it's clean and properly maintained. I've had a couple black cars and I won't reccomend doing it for a DD. However a lot of folks have magnetic these days too.

Have you thought about IS? DIB is an amazing color too. If waiting for a '17 lightning blue looks sic as well.

FWIW, I have a Guard and feel it's the best of both worlds.

I would have gotten Comp Orange, but the dealer had this base GT in Magnetic at a great price, so I jumped on it. I do love the color, but Comp Orange is pretty sweet, and I see fewer of them around.

Spend some time looking at a Magnetic car in direct sunlight. I bet the choice will be clear after you do that.

My S550 is the first black car I've ever owned and I wish it was literally any other color. Between pollen season and the hot GA sun, there's just no keeping it totally clean and spot-free. It looks awesome on the rare occasion that it is clean but it's a pain in the ass otherwise.

I daily drive mine. Does it get dirty? Sure, but don't they all get dirty?
I've only washed my car 1 time since I bought it. I guess, I just don't care if the outside is dirty. My interior stays spotless though!!
This is probably my 7th black vehicle. The pain of having a dirty black car becomes numb after 20 years.

I agree.. I actually initially wanted a Magnetic s550 with black stripes.. but I changed my mind when pretty much every stang I saw on the street was magnetic.. and the majority of the people here seemed to favor magnetic. I'm the "all black everything" kind of guy anyway.. so I said F it and went for it.

If I could do it over again however, I would go for Race Red.. that color is awesome.. my girl told me to get Red or White.. I should of listened to her.. :lol:

I didn't want a "loud" color tho.. I'm not the "Hey look at me!" type.. I wanted something mean and evil looking yet classy. But yeah.. Race Red has really grown on me.. if I get another Stang, it'll most definitely be Race Red or whatever variation of it is available at the time.. Grabber Blue would be 2nd choice.
