I was under the impression the Track Pack and R had the same stiffer springs?
The tech and track GT350 have the same springs. The R is different (fronts only). Different spring rates = different strut calibration (and possibly part numbers) and likely different ABS calibration.

Ah no! It is tires and wheels for 95 percent of the difference. While those other items will/would have an impact on some road courses no one here is good enough to tell that difference. And a true serious roader is gonna make very serious changes to even the R in terms of suspension bits depending upon the particular track they run.

A true, serious "roader" is going to start with a 350RC or a body in white. These are street cars - even the R.

Where is this noted? Everything I've seen from the initial publications and the official ordering guide just says "Heavy Duty Front Springs" for all three (Tech, Track, R).

That is what I have read as well, though the owners manual supplement only distinguishes between R and "GT350" when they show front spring rates, everything else I've read has the Magnaride cars with stiffer front springs. The R has a little bit different rear sway bar setup.

Edit -I think the owners supplement just doesn't distinguish between the base car and the Magnaride equipped vehicles.

I thought the same thing - but then why specifically say the R has X?

I would think they would say Magneride equipped cars have X.

I think all of the 350s (base included) have the same springs. The R has stiffer springs.

Edit: found more notes saying the track, tech and R have "performance front springs" - so I guess the jury is still out on this whole scenario.

Why the whole thing is confusing. We'd all expect the R to possibly have stiffer setup, but all signs point to it being strictly software based.

On the brochure that I have it lists performance front springs over the regular GT350. It does not list them on the Tech package.

The different between the R and the Track as far as suspension goes says "Unique chassis tuning" on the R.

Yeah, according to Ford all Magneride cars have the "Heavy Duty Front Springs."

All this tells me is that with some simple mods (albeit costly for lightweight wheels) the regular GT350 can be on the heels of the R. Hopefully tuning the Magneride won't be too bad. No idea what's involved in that.

So do the performance front springs differ from the heavy duty front springs? I was also under the impression that the Track and R models had the "Performance front springs"

This looks like to me that the regular, tech, and track models have 194lb front springs, and the R model has 240lb. I wonder why they would list "performance springs" on the track and R models but not the base and tech. It all seems a bit confusing, but this picture seems to make more sense.
