Anybody got any clips of their gen 3 coyote with long tubes and OEM active with resonator still on? Thinking of doing long tubes on mine, but I'd like to hear how it might sound first. I'll need to keep my resonator to make a half-hearted attempt at keeping my neighbors satisfied. Thanks!

Here’s a video of a 2019 GT (I believe) with the setup youā€˜re inquiring about. I think it sounds good. Fast forward to 27:30 to listen to it sing.

I have these same exact headers on my Bullitt that he has on his GT, except I’m running a Steeda X-pipe and factory Active Exhaust.

Funny, I've had my full exhaust set up for quiet a while now & I have yet to hear what I sounds like out back.

I’d love to hear it. Find yourself a volunteer cameraman or camerawoman and have them shoot some video of it and post it up here for us.

I'll try to make some friends some day, it's on my list. But yeah you are right, I can drag the wifey out here & have her record or do a drive away.

LTH, no cats with an x pipe on stock active is super loud on 93oct, a bit lower on e85. I dont know how it would sound with stock resonator but with LTH, no cats it sounds absolutely perfect with the magnaflo tru X resonated x pipe on the stock active mufflers. No drone, all modes work perfectly and loud AF in track mode under full throttle. No rasp at all. With the magnaflo tru x it will be kinda quiet at first till the packing gets burned in.

I have the cat delete with a magnaflow tru x and it’s perfect for my liking. The tru x resonator keeps it from being raspy.

I have the OE gt350 x-pipe which is resonated with headers and the OE active mufflers. Quiet cold starts are still acceptable for when I leave for work in the morning. And track mode is pretty loud when I get on it. Managed to put quiet mode on and pull into my garage unnoticed last night which should say something

Catless LTH with an x pipe seems like it rips the fabric of time and space! I've heard the Magnaflow tru x does tame longtubes a bit. I just wish they did a tru H.

Cool! Coyotes without cats legitimately need something to tame that rasp. Otherwise, to my ears, they just don't sound good.

Tru x works great!! However…. I did swap my Steeda x back in just to see since it was never on with the whipple. It’s better on e85, not as loud as it was crushing on 93. Had to see how the difference and also on the ghost cam tune. Not bad cruising. But holy kill everyone’s ear holes on a 3rd gear roll and mash it. Like top fuel loud. Especially on 15lbs n e85. People were running away. So I’ll be switching back to my tru x here soon. Lmao

Would you happen to have a sound clip of this set up?

Can someone come and drive my car so I can hear what it sounds like? šŸ˜‚ no one in my friend group knows how to drive stick, or some of them I don’t trust behind the wheel

This is why as soon as my son learned how to drive, we got into my 01 F150 & he learned how to drive a manual. It was the perfect vehicle to learn in. The alignment was way off, 1st gear would have to be massaged in, shift knob would come off it pulled up. It would crack me up that he would look at the knob expecting it to tell him what gear he was in. He learned, & I wouldn't have it any other way.
