Guys / Gals,
I have a 2020 Mustang GT with the Ford performance X pipe and active exhaust from the factory.
I'm thinking about installing the BORLA axle back to make it louder.
My question is if something goes wrong with the OEM active exhaust valves, where do I purchase new ones (part #)? Also, has anyone had any problems with the OEM valves going bad with an aftermarket exhaust system?

The actuators are nothing special, very common easily found.

The biggest problem most have is with breaking the plug or damaging the wire that attaches to the actuator.

Just a thought to run thru your head. If you run track mode 90% of the time.

Don't bother with the active exhaust. I removed mine and installed axel backs.

Cause I got tired (quickly) of always resetting the mod, every startup.

Just saying

Thanks for the input. What type of axle back did you install?

I like Roush parts so I went with those. If you go axle backs you can easily get 400 for the AE. Just make sure you make the cuts clean, don't damage the tips.

Without the AE the car will complain a few times. Just ignore it, hurts nothing the car will relearn and stop griping.
