A shop is probably gonna charge 600+. I had a buddy install mine for a few hundred. There are lots of guys who do these on the side. Another local guy has probably installed them on at least 10 cars from the Atlanta s550s group alone.

I agree about 8 hours shop time for a good install, so at $60-75 an hour $500-$600.
There really is a lot of work to properly install them. I did mine on jack stands over 2 days in 10 hours.

I paid $600 at my local exhaust shop. The guy said it took him 10 hours, and its been a few months so it seems like he did a very good job. He said it was a bitch and a half to get them in.

That's why I did mine myself. That money I saved is going towards a GT350 intake manifold.
In all honesty it prob will be more than what they quoted since I'm having the Dynomax bullets installed and having the X put in place of the H.

Shop by me said $200 for the install. I was really surprised how cheap he said, but then again the labor is only $50 an hour around here.

Unless they have done a bunch of S-550s it's going to take them more than 4 hours unless they put three people on the job.
