"Low or Empty Wiper Fluid Level"

Anybody know if the 2016 Mustang Ecoboost Premium has a "Low or Empty Wiper Fluid Level" light or message on the dash. Ran empty today, nothing came up

Don't think so. No need, seems like unnecessary electronics to me. It's wiper fluid. Fill out up when your out, or before. Then again i don't use wiper fluid, might refill every decade or so.

Never had a car that told me i had low wiper fluid, and i hope i never do.

That wasn't the question. If its supposed to, I'm still under warranty to have it fixed

I just happened to have the manual open for a question I posted and checked. On page 86 it says that that there is a Low Washer Fluid Level Warning Lamp in the instrument cluster and that "It illuminates when the washer fluid is low."

The manual is for the 2019 Mustang so I couldn't say with certainty that the 2016 has it, but I'd assume so. Check the manual (download it from the ford site and search it as that's easier than flipping through it) to make sure on your particular year.

On the bright side, if you go to the dealer, I'm sure they also have restrooms where you can take more urinal stall selfies.

What? No low washer bottle alert? Well that's the limit right there. I'm putting my up for sale. I can't believe I bought a car that doesn't have a low washer fluid alert on the dash.

Just for shit and giggles I checked the 2016 owners manual. No warning light.

No, it does not have a indicator light for wiper fluid. I checked the manual in my car to confirm. In the warning indicator section it is not listen with the other warning indicator descriptions.

I don't know how you will survive without it, how will you ever know when the wiper fluid is out. Good luck.

Maybe the washer bottle should have a 'Dip Stick' or maybe it does ?
