I think anyone on here would trade up to a GT350 if they had a chance.
Incorrect, I have plenty enough money I could have gotten one if I wanted. I purchased the car I wanted and not regretting it. Well, if I'm completely honest, I'm a little disappointed the engine isn't a little more resilient. On my 06 GT, I started modding it day 1 and threw the warranty away (figuratively). I've been so spoiled with Ford's quality, I thought I could do the same with the EB. After so many had issues, I did have to re-think it. Now my plan is to delay the original plan until after warranty (already at 20,000 miles). Then I will build and go big turbo. I've never built an engine myself before but would LOVE to do it as a project! This little thing I could set on the kitchen table sounds like a great one to start with!

Ive only financed 2 cars, The first being my challenger and let me say this. I basically listened to a bunch of my friends in the military and decided to get a challenger R/T it did have a 6peed manual in it though:). I was at the subaru dealership about a week before i got the challenger and the wrx just didn't seem right to me once i went to go see it in person (felt real cheap). A couple years passed and i heard all these rumors about a turbo mustang in the new generations line up and I was immediately interested. I seriously never even looked into getting a gt once. I test drove the manual without performance pack and my challenger felt a lot faster TBH but i didn't care because it had a turbo! and i knew with a couple mods i could match or surpass what the R/T was doing and I've done that. I've pulled on both a challenger and charger R/T's on the highway. I'm not trying to make this car a speed demon but its pretty damn fast after getting an accessport and all i need to be satisfied. When it comes to power i feel like I'm the only guy on this forum that feels like the power is perfect where i have it right now, Seems like everyone else wants a rocket ship while I'm just over here chilling and enjoying my car.

BTW i probably would trade up to a gt350 if it was a direct swap because the gt350 has alot of character with that flat plane v8. but i would probably be forced to find another daily. Not sure how the gt350 does as a daily.

That is exactly why I didn't choose a GT350 or the GT for that matter. I needed a daily commute car for long miles.

Something I forgot to say was that in my 06 GT and my 10 V6, I couldn't talk hands free on the phone, too noisy. With over an hour commute each way, I'm typically on conference calls.

I'm with you, I would prefer to be on a ecoboost only site. Without the negativity and without non-eco owners.

The only reason I even started considering a Mustang (other than an 80's SVO) is because they made it turbo again.

I test drove an EB PP and GT PP back to back cause the dealer couldn't find the keys to the EB when I fist walked in and asked if I wanted to drive anything else while they found them so I figured why not. The only thing the GT had that I wish my EB has is the Brembos. Sure it had more power but for around $8k more it wasn't worth it to me even though I could have easily afforded it.

Or do like I do: avoid the EB vs GT threads. Yea you get the occasional GT troll stiring things up in the EB sub forum, but all in all Mustang6G is the place to be.

There is one but it's pretty small
http://www.ecoboostmustang.org/
This EB Mustang forum is very active / worth visiting & joining (I did so in Feb and my car is not even here yet) ...

... I've got the other one in my favorite list too ... but as Glenn G said, it is small and there is very little to no activity.

Check out this other EB site, great bunch of people you will not be disappointed !!

Hahaha def not true, let me read one more. "Will my engine blow thread". Lol. I actually don't mind the GT guys that much, it's the troll EB owners and owners of the EB that talk shit about their ride most!

I am a member of the FB page and it's very good input and feedback, but I do like the forum concept also as I have been members of forums for years that have helped me pick the best upgrades for many cars, trucks and motorcycles I have owned over the years. Also that I can look back for older info and search for specific posts, info, and that's hard to do on the FB page.

thanks for the input.

Love my wife's ecoboost so far. And up here at high altitude, stock for stock, it's almost right there with my GT.
