How many miles on these leftovers?

I saw one with 150 test drive miles on it.

No thanks, I want as close to a zero mile virgin as I can get.

Guess I have to order factory fresh.
I think the one I'm getting has 11 miles on it. I get what your saying, just depends on you. Some would take a car with a couple miles if the price makes them look past it.

Happy hunting. I'd really look for 2016 model if you want the best price. I couldn't get more than typical Costco/Truecar deal ~1750-2000).

2016 you can 5-7k before negotiating...

I just had my GT for a few months now. Congrats! Sounds like an awesome pick! Which axle ratio did you end up getting?

The one I bought in August had like 90 on it, which was high, but I got $1,000 blue tag, 0%, etc. The only other part that I did not care for was the car was in Maryland, so it added about another 100 miles. It looked and smell new so I was happy in the end.

The one I purchased had 14 miles on it. I'm sure every single mile was a full throttle run. Life goes on.

I ended up with the 3.31. I test drove it and it always seemed a hair trigger a way to just take off!

3:55 and 3:73 must really accelerate the wear on those rear tires...

I just bought a 2017 base with the PP and I would not have it any other way. It does come with the 3.73 but with around town driving I am averaging 18 mpg with the occasional rip threw a couple gears...and it is not even broke in yet. Also the bigger brakes and handling improvements to me are worth the extra coin of the PP. Car may see a strip once in its lifetime, but being a former autocrosser I like cornering. Like said above leather can be added and you can add aftermarket seat warmers...never thought coolers were necessary. I would say your only extra expense if you went with a PP one is the need to invest in snow tires or a second set of rims and tires.

If you like, you can change your gears to 3:73 without voiding your warranty as long as you have a Ford dealer install OEM gears.

Do the 3.55 and 3.73 wear the rear tires faster?

Depends on driving habits. I don't intentionally do burnouts, but I'm no angel when getting into the go pedal. 24,000 miles on my tires and it looks like I might squeeze 30,000 out if I'm careful. Rotate often.

GT PP All the way. Love the Recaro's too (I get a lot of compliments on them).

If I were to do it again I might go for a GT 350. Even though my market has ridiculous dealer mark ups I have had several conversations with dealer staff about negotiating that down.

I love my Base GT PP and I got a KILLER deal on it but after it's all said and done I will have easily spent an equal amount to a GT 350.

Quick comments .
Premium - love heated and cooled seats, no regrets .
401a - BLIS is awesome
PP - 3.73 is fine for DD , I don't use 1st gear much , only when starting on a hill .

'15 GTPP w/FRPP/Roush Stage 1 blower. 3:73 gears have not been a negative issue, even with the blower. The 3rd gear pull in the car, particularly with the blower is pretty amazing. Torsen Diff and Brakes alone are worth the cost of the PP.

Thats what scare see about the 3.73 gears. ( not using 1st gear )

My car has 3.31 gears. I did drive the 3.73 for 10 minutes when I bought mine and I don't really remember if 1st was that short.

I do think 3-31 is perfect for a daily driver. Normally drive in 5th gear at 55 and only need 6th for Highways but sometimes I think I should revisit the 3.73 just for the heck of it. Don't even know how much the dealer would charge to swap that out ?

For a dealer ... MSRP on a 3.73 diff is $2200 , then figure $250 labor , if not more .
