It's the schnitzel and bier connection...

Since Technically the Nurburgring is a toll road and not a track, does that mean we shouldn't get Limp mode driving it?

BTW, I know someone who tracks their Tech GT350 in CA... at Fontana, Willow Springs, etc. and he has not hit reduced power or limp mode. An advanced driver too. He also tracks his C7 Z06 and his new Viper ACR out there.

Excellent news! Thanks! Do you know what times he's running or the ambient temperatures when he ran it? How long did he run the car? Did he look at trans or rear diff temperatures after his laps?

Well as long as you're humble I won't take offense, right?

I disagree. Obviously.

If Ford would have made it clear that the most track capable Mustang ever needed to have the track pack option in order to run a 20 minute HPDE at 65 F with a novice driver, I would have bought a track pack with the assumption I needed to swap out seats to something that would work for me.

I actually would have been fine with that, because the Sync, nav, heated and cooled seats, blah blah weren't important to me. Being able to comfortably fit in the car was and is pretty critical though.
I mean - I know I'm bigger than most, but I hardly think I'm fat. Here's a clip of a recent photo.

Yeah ok maybe this is going kind of far, but I'm really tired of the little guys on here calling me fat. If they want to come call me fat to my face they are welcome to it. I don't fit into Recaros at all. I'm not sure I could even get behind the wheel of a GT350 with Recaros. I'm 6'4" 230. Hardly NBA or NFL material. I don't think I'm that far out of the mean, really. But Ford's Recaros are way too small for me.

So shoot me - I wanted to have a GT350 where I could fit comfortably in the seats and go to 2 or 3 HPDEs a year. Is that too much to ask?
Hey I'm 6'5" 205 and cancelled my order because I couldn't fit in those Recaros. My 2013 Boss with Recaros were fine.

I'm 6'2", 220 and the recaros were too tight for me. Probably would have been ok for the track but that's not how I use my cars.

Well get with the picture - this guy one-up'd you by an entire ACR! ;)
Yeah! But I'll be 2nd fiddle... I don't mind. :D

Since last year, I actually have an ACR build if ever I'll pull the trigger on one... I'm also eyeing what the next 991.2 GT3 will be (which is a much harder allocation to get and I found one). ;)

Here's my violaceous ACR Extreme builld... now get back on topic! :headbonk:

Have ANY of the cars with overheating issues been on slicks? I ask this because with slicks you can go FASTER, putting more stress on everything.

I went into LIMP mode once after (3) 20 minute sessions. I contacted my doctor and explained the problem. He told me at 50 years of age i should stop trying to run 25 year women into the ground. either start running women my age of take Viagra.

My prescription for the blue pills is ready for pickup!!!! I'm not settling and neither should you GT350 owners (getting mine in 2017 hopefully) :headbang::cheers::lol::headbonk:
