Started experiencing something on my 16' GT where, I get "Hill Assist Unavailable" "See Manual" and completely lose any accelerator, no gas pedal whatsoever. I have to pull over, restart the car, and it's fine until it does it again.

Taking it to a dealer but, anyone else experience this?

Check to make sure the brake pedal bumper and the clutch pedal bumpers (if manual trans) are not missing. Those will cause intermittent drivability problems.

See this below thread which contains many images, DIY and the recently released official NHTSA docs near end of thread. Even though Ford states in the docs it affects 2015's clutch pedal bumper AND brake pedal bumper, , there's many threads on here where members have posted other model years where the problem exists.

It could be the rear axle thrust washer. It’s a common issue with the S550’s and it seems to trip the dash lights, sometimes more than just one or not the same as others have experienced….

This just happened to me while at Daytona, 2 years of battery drain, brake lights randomly would stay on. Yesterday when I got here the brake lights would not go out. Then driving, it was in power reduction, trip to Autozone and a zip tie installed in the hole the bumper goes solved everything. Found out about it from this forum, checked my vin on NHTS and found the recall. Also I now know what those little pieces on my floor are.

A sticking throttle body will cause this also. I have also seen other threads about a rear speed sensor, "throwing a wrench."

Hook it to a code scanner when it happens (without turning off car).

Good luck!
