I test drove an RC-F on a parking lot track before launch.
Lots of swag that day. I do remember that car pulling a lot harder than I thought it would.
The electronics make it pretty easy to drive. Dunno if it would handle a 10R80 S550 though... those (RCF) are 12 second cars from the factory and 10R80s run 11s.

But does any factory stock mustang bury the speedo at 200 mph easily. I.E. Bullitt, Mach 1 , GT350/500

Neither does an RC-F. It is limited to 176

Mustangs without a tune is electronically limited to 160 (at least mine was, and it was definitely still pulling)

Lexus has to really give up the Predator mouth grille. Has it been 20 years now? It's never been nor will ever be an attractive shape on a car.

The RC-F does not do 200mph, nor does it exceed 175mph unless tuned which is not relatively easy. And even still it’s not going 200mph.

Yea I read electronically limited to 168, but I wouldn't call anyone out unless I was actually sitting in the driver's seat trying to do it.

It's got an Ipad glued to it's dash too. Good looking dash till that eye sore.
... don't get me started on that lazy-arse interior design as well...

I never understand why this even matters, been asked at a gas station multiple times what is my top speed. I don't give a rats ass, I wont hit those speeds in the streets. About asking for 0-60 or 1/4 mile time. 😐

RCF is pretty cool for copying the Coyote 5.0.

I have owned several Lexus models and the biggest things I have noticed are:
1. They are much heavier than you would expect.
2. Their suspension does not hold up well on midwestern streets.

I can cosign you on that #2, I had a 2014 GS 350 F sport and damaged my car on a small pothole on I-24 heading to Illinois. I guess it was about 3" deep and I was running about 80 MPH.

I knew the 200 MPH comment would catch some flack from the crowd. It's in my blood.

Her car had 7K miles on it when I first drove it so was not tuned and still isn't. Speedo was definitely between 175/180 at top of 7th gear I know that much pulling strong with no sign of slowing down and never hit any speed limiter. I was not in it when her hubby supposedly had it to 200 but have no reason to doubt him either.

Some of us have a need for speed so top speed does matter, if not then why is there Bonneville and El mirage.

I never put any real miles on the car since only get to drive when she visits but I will agree it's not the smoothest riding car for a DD but the go pedal makes you forget about the rough ride.

Great V8 engine, my main issue with Lexus is the bland exterior, specifically their grills getting larger and larger... just like BMW. Good lord.
