I hate neither chrome nor black but would like to see more options available. All black doesn't suite the classier colours on this car IMHO, needing a polished lip or detail. Looks killer on white, black and yellow but also makes then seem like track cars, and not everyone will want that.

I'm not into the black wheel look either. I agree it looks good on some body colors, not others. I personally would like to opt for the 500A 50yr LE wheels which are same size as the PP 67G wheels. Maybe buy them over the counter from the dealer? We will see.

Except most of the time it will be on my drive or street. I'd rather have nice wheels with the car and then buy the lightest track wheels not worrying about looks at all. Black wheels on a new car fell poseur-ish IMHO.

Actually, this makes me sound like a dick. I just feel all black wheels regardless of how nice they are make a car look unfinished at any kind of distance. When I spend that kind of money, I want a car that shows the designers and engineers put some thought into it.

That's why I said almost any car. Classics (especially ones with chrome trim) and high end luxury cars are exempt.

I may have exaggerated my feeling for chrome, but I dislike chrome as much as some of you hate black wheels.
I'm with you, I can't stand it. Leave the chrome on classics, time to move on.

IDK, I think chrome wheels on one of my Mustangs look pretty sweet...
Yep. On classic cars they look amazing and perfectly in place. I can tolerate them occasionally on modern cars but find them a bit blingy for my taste. Beautiful classic stang BTW. Love the fastback.

I like any wheel color as long as it's black ;) Black wheels look good on any color car. I really don't get what all the fuss is about. I guarantee you, half of the people that hate the way they look in the photos will love them once they actually see them in person.

Uhhhh no. I dislike an all black wheel. Has to have a machined lip or painted lip (other than black :paddle:) for me. I love the color on the GT500 performance pack wheels and the Brembo wheels.

Love it! But refuse to buy another M/T DD so I can't get them on my GT unless I buy some off ebay when all the Hate it's put their's up after they get their PP GT. The more I look at the pictures of the 18" standard wheels on the GT the more I like them. Also they come with all season tires and we are getting the cars in the fall so it works out for me.

I will likely upgrade to a Brembo brake kit and bigger wheels a year or so down the road. Probably black or gunmetal. That should look great with the Ruby Red.

Gunmetal wheels on Ruby Red would look best

I don't hate that the wheels are black, I hate that I don't have another option with the track package. But there will be wheels up for trade shortly after I purchase mine.
I actually really like the current PP wheels.
