It was only a matter of time before one of these thread popped up, lol.
SVTFreak and dcrypter take the win for the correct answer on this one.
As an aside, the actual "law" related to this is the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. It is a long read but worth familiarizing yourself with, especially if...
From a business standpoint I understand the decision to only supply Summer tires with the PP. Traditionally, people buying the PP are looking for the best performance possible and if my thought process is correct I would assume that a tire designed for one purpose would perform better in those...
While I understand your analogy, inflicting damage to an item, in this case a wheel/tire, can not be deemed "wear and tear". Wear and tear by legal definition is the depreciation of an item during normal and reasonable use. In this instance the OP struck a curb, albeit by accident, one could...
I wash my hand of this thread, lol. I have been in the insurance business for 11 years and provided my input several pages back but it seems to have fallen on deaf ears.
98% of what RisingForce has said in all of his posts has been valid. I'm not sure why this is such a hard concept to grasp...
No.
You are buying a sports car with an optional Performance Package to increase performance. Any optional package typically related to "sport" or "performance" usually equates to opting for Summer tires over a lesser performing all season. This is an industry standard practice.
As an insurance producer, I can tell you that the person who caused the damage, in this case the OP, is almost always responsible for reparations. The dealership has a general P&C line and depending on the dealership, an inventory insurance line. This coverage is not all encompassing and the...
+1. Took the thoughts right out of my head. Mustang to me is a performance car and all of those just detract from that.
And i can't stand soft top convertibles. IMO they destroy the clean lines of a car.
That's not a question I can really answer without knowing all of the circumstances. I can say that I no longer write for Allstate and have moved to an Independent Agency and prior to leaving we had several cancellations a day due to rate increases in NJ. I am using GEICO myself and have been...
YouTube videos are a good way to narrow down your selection but ultimately, the only way to decide is to hear the different options in person.
I've seen that SW exhaust video posted elsewhere on the forums and the sound quality is downright horrible. The mic is getting blown out because of the...
I really don't like threads like these. Everyone posts a premium amount with no consideration to the many variables that make up said premium. If this is to be an effective comparison thread there needs to be, at the very least, a cohesive format followed. I've been in the insurance business...
I like any wheel color as long as it's black ;) Black wheels look good on any color car. I really don't get what all the fuss is about. I guarantee you, half of the people that hate the way they look in the photos will love them once they actually see them in person.
Do we have any other pics with the PP black wheels other than the two that venom posted? I plan on ordering a Black GT MT w/ PP. I love the black wheels but I haven't really been able to find any good photos of that combo.
