The original poster hasn't really provided the forum with enough information for us to weigh in rationally and assist him with a decision. As for the rest of this thread, please see my avatar
So it sounds like I could just swap the mounts and the rear bar assuming both front bars are the same stiffness. That would be a little less work than finagling the old bar out and the new one in.
Rats!!! Went downstairs to look and the bushings are not removable from the bar. Looks...
I recently purchased the take off suspension from a 2016 ppGT. I am pairing these pieces with the frpp x springs and jounce dampers. I assume this equates to the street pack sold as a kit by ford racing. I thought I read somewhere that the front sway bar of the pp suspension and the standard GT...
Gonna get a lot of opinions on this one
For me… '67 fastback with the '68 a close second. The Bullitt car was my all time favorite mustang, but the '67 style is a little sleeker.
Up shifts are rpm dependent. The MPH of an up shift or down shift will vary depending on what rear end gear ratio you have.
To the original poster: This is the reason you car will not up shift past 4th gear below 50mph... The rpm is not above 2500 and is probably because your rear end...
The paddles work in both "D" and "S" modes. The only way I end up using the paddles in "D" is while cruising on the highway to avoid having to use my brakes while adjusting my speed for traffic. I feel this is primarily how the manufacturer intended they be used while in drive because as soon as...
I went through this thought process as well and decided on the base car. The premium interior is beautiful, but I have the mft in an escape and wasn't all that enamored. I've had lots of mustangs and a 50th year car will be my last one. I'll be keeping it for my coffin ;)
The basic car is such...
Might have to break my promise that the present mustang is the last one.. Would add to the list available in automatic and machine turned dash. Just don't feel like shifting anymore
I learned to drive in a 1978 Dodge colt coupe 4-speed with a 1.6 liter "MCA high swirl" single barrel four cylinder cranking out 77 hp. What's funny is that car regularly knocked down 40 mpg+ in 1978. I think the car was made of tin foil. We don't seem to have progressed much when it comes to...
Just traded my ruby red manual for a magnetic automatic. The traffic here in Seattle sucks and I don't get the car out of town enough to enjoy the manual anymore. Plus this auto is leaps and bounds ahead of what was available when I was younger. Doubt I'll use the paddles much but they're still...
I just came home from work and entering 5 north from 520 I accelerated in 4th gear approximately 3/4 throttle at around 50mph... backend got loose on me and I have the Pirelli all seasons. It was about 44 degrees F and merely damp. I would be careful. Take it out on dry days (I know... not...
