YAY!!! Congrats! You go Grrrl! At least they are working with you to get it repaired.
I just spoke to the dealership body shop manager and he said he's got the door and fender perfectly aligned. It's in with the paint department now and he said it will be good as new and undetectable! I might be able to pick it up after work this evening!

Hope they can get it handled for you!I scheduled another appointment (for today at 3PM) with Palmetto Ford on their website. They called me this morning, but I wasn't able to answer. I tried to contact them back, but had no luck. I left him a message, but he hasn't called me back. Not sure what to think of it.

Yup, I'll keep paying on the old loan until they pay it off. I'm just going to keep track of the amounts to make sure that whatever I pay on the old car gets taken off of the loan amount on the new car.
That's awesome news!
My good news: I went to Palmetto Ford today and we changed the appointment to Wednesday morning. They want to inspect the whole drive-line and find what's causing the vibration . These people rock! They're taking it seriously.
I'm on the same boat. Did you keep paying it? My old loan's next payment is due in 3 days.![]()
LoL ... I meant PonyGrrl, but I guess you too.I completely forgot about that.
That's exactly what I noticed pulling out of the dealership, shifts are smooth as butte. No jerking whatsoever, I don't find the gears to be too short either. The 3.73 gears feel good to me and do feel more in the clutch pedal, especially when I am downshifting. I feel a slight clicking when I fully engage the clutch when downshifting. It's nothing harsh it's very subtle but I definitely feel some kind of vibration as I am engaging the clutch, during the pedal travel. I don't think it's clutch chatter, I think I just really feel the clutch disengaging in the pedal, could be the rev matching. I'm going to have my cousin drive it and see what he thinks. He knows cars and grew up in garages with my Uncle and owned a service station many years ago and he maintained the police cruisers when he was a cop.. No way are the techs at Ford touching it if I can help it.I've been emailing her daily. I contacted my dealer today and they told me that sent out the payment last monday. I'm on the phone with my bank right now to let them know.
The GT felt "alive" when I turned it on for the first time... and that thing just keeps going when you accelerate it. The best thing about the V8 is that it's not "jerky" like the EB, and I haven't felt any lag at all (in sport/track). I freaking love that engine.
I completely forgot about that.

Looks awesome! Did you get the Drive Assist package?
*edit* I love the second picture.

*edit* If your payment due date is near, call your bank and ask them to extend your "due payment". I ended up doing that since it's taking my dealer longer than expected.
