Had a minivan due that years ago and turned out to be a full tank of bad gasoline.:headbonk:Hello! Long time lurker and finally made an account!
If anybody could help me with problems pertaining to my car it would be very great because I have never gone through this process before.
I own a 2015 Ford Mustang V6 which I bought around December. Car is fantastic and everything was fine, up until these past few weeks. The car started misfiring around July for no apparent reason. I took it into the shop to get it checked but everything came out okay and there was no problems on the car. They also said they could not do anything unless a check engine came up on the dash. It took them one day of checking and they just left the work order open. When I received my car and took it home everything ran fine. The next day again I started having problems but this time it was worse. The misfires were extreme and the check engine came up. The misfires did not stop so I turned the car off, waited a few minutes, and turned the car on again. I took it straight to the dealer still misfiring here and there and they started to work on the car. After a week of sitting in the shop they called me and told me that the car was having random misfires and that they would have to come and have an engineer look at it and assess the problem. It has now been 36 days and they have told me that they are going to do an engine swap on the vehicle and that's not what I want. The car is never the same and I would much rather have a completely new Mustang. Now I started to file out the lemon law forms and I have to send a letter to the manufacture with proof that the car has been in the shop but the problem is since the work order was left open, they cannot give me any invoice or work order form saying what they did to the car and stuff of that nature. Another problem is that since they left the work order open it only shows that I came into the shop once for the 36 days and lemon law requires I took the car into the shop for two days because it causes a serious hazard to my well being.
So now that you know all of that, can anybody please help me out with this process because I don't know how to go by this and get this done asap because I have a full time job and also going to university and I need my car.
Side note: what about my payments to my car? does that get reimbursed?
Thank you so much for the help
