My 2016 Mustang seat cover (especially driver seat) is showing its wear and getting torn. After doing some research, I am thinking of getting Katzkin as they have an installer. Please share your experience if you have had Katzkin done on your car.

Installed correctly? No Issues with installation? Did the installer come to your residence or you had to go to a shop?

Any comment is welcome...

Two of my buddies have them in there Mustangs , absolutely beautiful. They went to the authorized shop , was done in 4 hours , they had 3 guys working on the seats , also they take them out of the car. It's going to be up to the installer , and being an authorized KZ installer , I'm sure they will look great. I have aleah leather the first owner did . Go for it you won't be disappointed.

It’s a good brand. That’s what Ford uses for the current GT350 seats.

I have installed them in a Dodge Dart, Chevy Silverado, F150 and on a set of Mustang seats.
If you are comfortable pulling seats out of the car you can do the swap, you have to remove the stock covers, they are simple to disassemble. If you have vented covers, they are frighteningly more costly.

The fit was almost perfect, but the seats were all new or close to new so the condition of the foam could factor into the fit.

Supposedly, pro installers are able to restore some resiliency to flattened foam with steam, you may need to replace the foam after 10 years of use.

The kits are everywhere and very affordable, you can call the resellers and they usually have a set for popular cars for cheap due to returns and such.

Katzkin has some excellent product offerings. Find a design that you like and go for it. They are absolutely worth the money.
