I don't have my DIB GT PP just yet but when I do I will take it down this road - PCH One from LA to Half Moon Bay

This one is good, especially since I drive part of this to work every day. (The section of Hwy 1 thru Santa cruz then over the mountain on Hwy 17 and then Hwy 85) But I love that whole drive, great choice.

I'd like to add Hwy 9 and skyline(Hwy 35) as a couple of great roads to play on. THis is not me driving but this is a couple of favorites in my neck of the woods.

And bear creek road either from hwy 17 to hwy 9 or vise versa.

If you can get there when it's quiet, nothing beats Palomar Mountain.
I honestly don't really like Palomar. It is fun and the view from the top is amazing but it is too slow and technical. I did get it on a slow day once and it was a blast at 100% in the Cobra.

Blue ridge parkway from Big Island to the Peaks of Otter.
Va 33 from Harrisonburg to Elkins WV. WV 219 to WV 60. 60 to Beckley WV. WV 16 from Beckley WV to Tazewell Va which coincidentally becomes the Back of the Dragon.
I am planning to make a road trip in that region as soon as the weather warms up (hopefully sometime in April).

Actually Mount Rushmore isn't too far of a drive for me so might head up this summer sometime. Love it up there...needles highway and the badlands are kick ass!
You ever been to the Sturgis Mustang Rally? Great cruise roads there and the whole week is SO much fun.

Some I’ve enjoyed that I don’t see mentioned yet…

Lombard Street and most of San Francisco – A rental car is strongly advised.
Any Manhattan avenue at night.
I-70 to I-15 between Denver and Mesquite, NV
Hwy 93 on either side of the Hoover Dam – This may have changed as the bypass bridge has been finished since I was last there.
CA-35 leading up to Big Basin Redwoods State Park – I think that’s the correct route. You go up a tight mountain road.
Sea to Sky Highway from Vancouver to Whistler.

Some Bridges, etc…

Brooklyn Bridge
Golden Gate Bridge
Chesapeake Bay Bridge
Overseas Highway
Lake Pontchartrain Causeway
The beach on Assateague Island (gotta convert to 4 wheel drive - ha)

They don't allow vehicular traffic any more -- which is totally a shame -- but I used to LOVE taking people visiting NY down Broadway through Times Square. I would always drive at ludicrously unsafe speeds (40 mph in that vicinity) and dodge pedestrians, laughing at tourists as they jumped out of the way.
You mean you weren't always a nanny?

Southern California Highway 74 (Ortega). Long, high speed canyon road and I enjoy every second of it.
Dude, if you like Ortega Hwy, check out Glendora Mountain Road (my favorite). Not as many straights but the corners are awesome! Watch out for bicyclists too.
