I disagree with you here because after working for Mercedes for over 8 years I find Benz interiors exceedingly boring. Quality is top notch, but they just don't make you feel engaged with the car. My 2011 isn't a luxury car but echos the feel of the raw Mustang performance. The 2015 I sat in recently brings that feel back while at the same time brought the same level of quality that Benz and the other luxury car marques bring to their entry level models. The 2015 Mustang wins on interior feel and excitement.
yrah, that is a nice car... Saw that at the auto show too.. 2mil if I remember correctly or more.... Personally I love the Audi R8... Ultimate dream car aside with the Lambo Hurican. Wish I had the chump change to do so. lol It was hard for me to compare the TT to the mustang and just had to make the choice,,, The 2016 TTS Interior just felt like it was missing something...No center console... Everything is in the gauge cluster now then the Mustang... I loved the interior of that, hands down but between the two for exterior I Love the TT more however the mustang came in a close second but the overall specs... anticipated MPG for the mustang, power, interior, the fun gadgets and cost, Mustang wins... What I would love to see in the mustang in the future would be adaptive suspension or magnetiride like in the Audis,,,, Cant wait for my mustang though... Its driving me crazy...lolIm not busting the guys chops. Im simply pointing out that there are some incredible interiors under 40k. The Mustang interior is awesome but the interior is only one of the focuses in a sports car of this class. In a luxury car its one of if not the most important focus and hence where they dump a great deal of investment and purchase price into the car. Its all in where a company spends their money. The Mustang is never going to have an interior on par with a Benz or a Lexus because they have other places to spend their money to meet the cost requirement....If it comes down to go fast or interior, I pick going fast and hence why I would buy a Mustang over a Benz.
And yes I would love to have this level of interior in my car, however. There are faster cars in the world but my dream car is the Huayra and its because the car is blazing fast but every single detail in the interior is painstakingly crafterd by artisans..Its the Michael Angelo of automobiles. I sat in one and you could literally sit there for hours and gawk at the details.
Granted Im shopping a Mustang and not a Huayra.

I like the Mustang much better myself. Audi has gone the spartan route. The S3 is really nice but when I've looked at the interior in the pictures it makes me want to ask where the interior is. There really isnt much interior there to like or dislike...yrah, that is a nice car... Saw that at the auto show too.. 2mil if I remember correctly or more.... Personally I love the Audi R8... That is one hideously ugly interior. Looks like a ghetto blaster with a vibrator for the parking brake.
Did you by chance get to hear the sound quality of the shaker system?
Thats cool...Im not sure if you post up the two interiors on reddit r/cars or vortex many people are going to pick the Mustang over the Benz. I've read no less than a dozen reviews on the Benz as I wanted the new C400 until I saw the new prices. GOOOD LAW those prices are insane....Almost every article I've read has called the interior of the new C class best in class and some of the reviews stated it was on par with the S class. Its the most aesthetic interior I've seen in a long, long time. I dont think the Mustangs interior would survive one second with virtually any of the entry model luxury sedans and in the end its not supposed to.
Every person has the right to their own opinion and if you like the Mustangs better, cool!
The C Class was released months ago in Europe. The reviewers have driven it so there opinions arent based upon pictures. I've not sat in either so my opinion is limited to visual aesthetics. From the pictures the Benz is clearly more aesthetic and if its anything like the reviewers claim its a home run over the fences. I've not seen a single reviewer "gush" over the Mustangs interior. I've seen very positive comments but nothing like I've seen on the Benz....If memory serves me right you work at Benz and I wonder if your opinion is slightly jaded as you have sat in the 250k plus Mercedes and hence the new entry level Mercedes doesnt have the same impact as it would on others that arent so integrated into the product.I didn't base my opinions on pictures though.
I have an S class and It is THE enterprise ;) Good analogy.Yeah I won't post again on Mercedes as it's way too easy for me to get carried away. The 2015 C-Class has a great interior, but I've also driven the S-Class and they really don't compare at all. The S-Class may as well be the starship Enterprise.
I thought the same... I mean I have been in older mustang.... never was impressed.... the 14 felt good but this new one blew me away.... MFT was the kicker I can't wait to get in one esp the GT PPI like the Mustang much better myself. Audi has gone the spartan route. The S3 is really nice but when I've looked at the interior in the pictures it makes me want to ask where the interior is. There really isnt much interior there to like or dislike...
The Mustangs new interior is next league so its definitely no slouch. It actually shocks me how much they improved it. I thought they would give us a half measure but I was wrong.
You know at the car shows I sit in most of these luxury cars and honestly I don't think they are that far above what the new mustang offers.Yea..The Mustang is never getting close to the new C class. C class starts at 38k and even that model has a ridiculously awesome interior. It is one of the best interiors I've ever seen on any car let alone 40k and less.

Funny you should say that. I almost bought an A3 quattro a few months back and I agree on the interiors. I love clean, spartan interiors (um..cough cough my forum name) but Audi went a tad too far going minimalistic in the A3/S3.I like the Mustang much better myself. Audi has gone the spartan route. The S3 is really nice but when I've looked at the interior in the pictures it makes me want to ask where the interior is. There really isnt much interior there to like or dislike...

The shaker system actually did function, I did not pay attention to it though.Nope, battery was disconnected.
