So I was broken on wheel size. The springs I’m getting will drop the car in all 4 corners about 1.75 inches. I wanted to get 18s, but that would have been a bit too low of a drop so I went with 19s.
Rosenstein wheels 19x9.5 and 19x10.5
With an offset of 35/38. I’m positive with some negative camber I can fit a 305/30 in the rear with 0 issues.
This is what they look like. Can’t wait to throw them on. I think that the set up and stagger is going to look phenomenal.

I run a 17X 10 with a 305/45 out back on mine, so you shouldn’t have a problem with fitment. Nice looking wheel btw.

I dig those wheels. I recently did 18x9 and 18x10 on mine with eibach pro springs and a 295/45 tire in the rear and the fitment was perfect.

I like those... Im locked into this thread, cant wait to see the finished product.
Thanks, I wanted to do something a bit different. A lot of the Mustangs you see out there have black wheels. I’m not a fan of a strong bronze color for wheels, but these looked like they would offset the blue nicely. I can’t wait to see the finished product myself. Oh and they were on sale so I got them for under 900 for the set.

To be honest the only time i prefer black rims is if the car is black as well. Fortunately for me, my car had a nice set on it when i bought it, and it just fit.

I’m on the fence about a set of Signature wheels in the triple dark tint translucent color for my shadow black M1. Didn’t want painted black but the tinted translucent looks pretty cool.

Wheel diameter won't effect ride height. Tire diameter will.

A 1.75" drop on a 30 aspect ratio tire? I'm guessing you don't want to be able to have much straight line traction? You will have less weight transfer and combined with a rubber band stiff sidewall tire, so it's going to be a great drift car!!!

Good looking wheel though.

How do you figure that? Dont both affect the ride height? If you have a 20 inch wheel, the center of the wheel to the outer edge is 10 inches. If you have an 18 inch wheel the center of the wheel to the outer edge is 9 inches. Thats a 1 inch lower ride. Also 1 inch difference in fender gap. Right?

If you were choosing the exact same tire size yes. Most alter aspect ratio to differentiate any difference in wheel diameter. So if he really wanted 18's, he would look at 35 aspect ratio tire (305/35/18) to keep ride height near the same.

Gotcha - I missed a little of the context regarding the tire size. 30 to 35 is about 15mm or about 5/8 inch. I guess going with 19 and 30 aspect is very close to 18 with a 35

You got it.
Hi Cory,
I have a 2020 GT Premium that I have lowered 1” all around. Looking at purchasing new rims and tires for the rear to get a better launch. I currently have 19”x8.5” Black Accent Package wheels with Pirelli Zero Nero P255/40 R19’s. I’m looking at 18”x11” Apex SM-10 wheels and M/T ET Street S/S wheels. What’s your thought on the o.d.? Slightly larger then the current 27.0” OEM wheels, or slightly smaller to get the best 0-60 times?

Larger diameter and R compound will always be best. I wouldn't do 11" wide wheels. 10-10.5" is ideal.

For example. My street setup runs the factory 19X8.5" premium wheels with 275/40/19 555Rll's. They stick impressively. I've done dragy verified 3.5 sec 0-60 with that setup. 5.02 60-130.
